Kábo Coffee's source farms practice sustainable
agriculture and only plant natural, non-sun resistant coffee trees
grown deep in the dense shade of the rainforest canopy. Our coffees are
grown at the highest altitudes from the original coffee seed stock of
old Typica and Bourbon trees and are produced according to the finest
European processing standards.
For Kábo Coffee, naturally grown means
coffee that is 100% chemical free.
All our farms practice sustainable
agriculture, biodynamic agriculture, or other environmentally friendly
growing methods that promote purity and quality, such as
inter-cropping, cross cropping, and composting.
All our farms must be shade grown; meaning
coffee trees are grown under the natural canopy of rain forest trees to
preserve the natural habitat.
